"Life is a matter of material state."

To illustrate the birthing process of Parallel's Kathari Clones, I directed and produced a montage of events ranging from its mytosis to a fully formed being.

The ethos of the short was to balance imagery of the genome sequence building and organizing, with macro and medium lab shots of the clone in various stages of growth and evolution.

I really enjoy mixing the organic with the mechanical. It evokes a certain type of mood and emotive state. The look and feel for the final piece was informed a lot by the end result and subject matter of how the production assets turned out.
